- 2022-currently: PhD student. Dissertation temporary title: "Documentation and description of Yamalero, a Guahiban language in the Colombian Eastern Plains". PhD in cotutelle between the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Eulàlia Bonet & Francesc Torres-Tamarit) and the Université Lumière Lyon 2 (Antoine Guillaume).
- 2021-2022: MA in Language Description and Documentation, cum laude (Leiden University). MA thesis: A phonological description of Yamalero, the language of ethnic Yaruro in the Colombian Eastern Plains, supervised by Rik van Gijn and Bert Botma.
- 2010-2014: BA in Linguistics (University of Barcelona)

| 2023: Jesús Tuson Prize for Language Diversity. Awarded by the Xarxa Vives d’Universitats for his MA thesis “Phonological description of Yamalero, the language of ethnic Yaruro in the Colombian Eastern Plains”.
2023: Connecting the Colombian Yaruro with their Venezuelan ancestors: phase 1 (9.915$), awarded by the Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research (1.2023).
2023: A community-based documentation of Yamalero’s traditional practices, a Guahiban language in the Colombian Eastern Plains (7.432€), awarded by the Endangered Languages Documentation Program (declined for the Firebird Foundation grant).
2022: PhD grant, awarded by the Spanish Ministery of Science and Innovation (PRE2021-098037)
