I am a CNRS researcher at the laboratoire Dynamique du Langage since 2010. My research program follows a multidisciplinary - at the inferace between cognitive neuroscience and psycholinguistics -, translational and crosslinguistic approach. It aims at characterizing the neurocognitive and sensorimotor mechanisms at play during language processing with two major research axes:

1) In an embodied cognition perspective, my objective is to investigate how the sensorimotor system shapes the neural networks for language, focusing on phonological, semantic and syntactic processing. From a semantic typological perspective, I also aim at determining how embodied cognition can coexist with linguistic diversity (cf. COVALI transversal theme).

2) My second line of research focuses on the role of brain rhythms, especially in motor regions, and of temporal processing in speech perception. In particular, I examine the tracking of speech rhythmic fluctuations by cortical oscillations, both in adults and in children with typical and atypical language development.
