ODYSSEE

Oscillatory Dynamics of Speech Sensorimotor Ensembles

The ODYSSEE project has been funded for 2 years (2012-2014) by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (n° 11 JSH2 005 1) and includes researchers in cognitive neuroscience, psycholinguistics, neuropsychology and phonetics. The LabEx ASLAN (Advanced Studies on Language complexity) also funded a PhD (H. Guiraud, 2013-2017) in the context of this project.
The aim of the project is to better characterize the dynamics of brain oscillations and the role of the motor system devoted to speech production in speech perception processes.
